BASIS TRENDS
SELECTING ONE NAME, EIGHT BRAND TRENDS;
I was tasked with choosing one word from a list of provided words and create a hypothetical brand. I had to design eight separate logos using the same brand name in eight different brand style trends. The word I chose is “basis” and I turned it into a stationery brand. The eight brand style trends I chose were Responsive, Adaptive, Minimalism, Integrated Negative Space, Geometric/Overlapping, Badge, Flat 2.0, and 80/90’s Memphis. Additionally, my designs were published in The Gravity of Typography textbook, designed and written by Karyn Jimenez-Elliott for typography courses.
